As a full-time PHP Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and websites using PHP programming language. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code for web applications and websites, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Develop and integrate backend services and APIs to support the front-end functionality.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure optimal performance, usability, and security.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Participate in the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
Stay updated with the latest PHP frameworks, libraries, and industry trends to suggest improvements and drive innovation.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong proficiency in PHP programming language and experience with PHP frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter).
Sound understanding of web development principles, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (like React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Experience with relational databases (such as MySQL) and proficiency in writing optimized SQL queries.
Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git, and proficiency in using development tools and IDEs.
Familiarity with web services and APIs (RESTful or SOAP) and integration of third-party libraries and APIs.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and agile development practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Previous full-time experience as a PHP Developer or relevant work experience is preferred.
